And I tested the resistance on the solenoids and this is what I got
yellow sol: 21ohms
purple sol:21.5ohms
red sol: 4.7ohms
blue sol: 3.5ohms

On the yellow and purple color wires i'm not sure of the color i'm just trying to remember But On the red and Blue color wire solenoids i'm positive on the color of them.
I Believe that for the second gen 97 ohm reatings the RED and BLUE color solenoids your be 12 or 13 ohms. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK MY PROBLEM IS WITH THE NO OD ISSUE?

Yes I did swap out the TCU with another one that I had and it worked fine for a couple of trips to the stores and when i was heading home at the last stop light when i started to pull away from the stop as soon as it was going to go into OD it did it again. (Like if it jumped into Neutral and then i went into 3rd and slipped again until the TCU went into limp mode and i just stayed in 3rd the whole way home.

Those plates look bent! If they are warped then that is your problem. Keeping overdrive seems to be a major sticking point with the mitsubishi transmissions. I would get an end clutch kit asap and chances are your problems will be solved. Mine were the same way and came with the kit when I did the complete transmission rebuild.

yes like two of them are bent. also what about the ohm reading on the solenoid? and I was lookin at a post on how to remove the end clutch and there is a part where they mentioned a whaser held on magnetecaly but my clutch did not have that, would that also be the problem?

If they are bent then they are toast and that is your o/d problem. Check the mitsu dealership parts fiche for the washer and if you dont have on have them order it. Those resistances seem ok to me, not shorted and not open.

Yeah, no problem bro'. I had parts missing in my auto when I did a rebuild, and had I not Looked closely at the parts blow up's I would'nt have noticed a missing thrust washer under a clutch hub.

Do you know what a missing thrust washer would cause? also I just checked this picture out and saw the resistance of the solenoids and noticed that the TCC solenoid was out of spec mine reads 4.7ohms when it should be 13 ohms and my EPC solenoid would constantly click noticeably loudly when I would put the car on R,D,1 AND 2 even with the ignition on and car off it would do it. So would the TCC solenoid being out of spec cause the EPC solenoid to do that or was the EPC solenoid going out to?
Also I forgot to mention when I would unplug my tcu and plug it back in it OD would show up for a while and then go away after a couple of drives.

The solenoids on ALL of them click/chatter when going into gear, it might not be normal but I've never known it to cause any problems, even the dodge's that use mitsu trannies do it, that how I can always tell its a mitsu auto LOL. That one solenoid the tcc, you might want to replace just so that it does'nt burn up your tcu by drawing too much current through the driver. The tcc solenoid is just for the lockup convertor.
