Saturday had misfire in cylinder 1. changed the spark plug and it was fine. (6ES). Started it up multiple times sunday and drove it too. Now this morning I have a misfire again in cylinder 1. (switched to 7ES due to mods)

The plug wires are fairly new. Anything else could cause this besides the wires and plugs them self? Just think its weird it keeps doing it in cylinder 1 on start up.

Did a compression check this weekend, all cylinders were in specs. No oil on them either.

i'll look at the plug and take a pic.

Like I said, it did it saturday morning, after replacing some gaskets and things, I put some 7es in there and ran fine yesterday. Then this morning for some reason misfire in cylinder 1.

went out this afternoon, started it up, and what do you know. NO misfire. I turned it on and off several times (letting it idle between), but could not get the thing to misfire.

saturday it had sat for 2 days straight and this morning it had sat just overnight. It was cold and rainy both days.

I just dont think those would have an affect.

Suggestions? I took the plug off seemed in good shape. I didnt switch the plugs or wires cause I couldnt duplicate the misfire.
