AHH, Head Bolts need to go!

Ok, so I'm "trying" to remove the head from the block, but can't seem to find the right socket to unscrew the head bolts. The manual says that I need "an 8mm Allen head socket". I am having a horrible time finding it. I bought like 2 different sockets and neither of them will work...

Anyone have a link of the socket I need? I just need to take a look at it so I can go to a autoparts store and get it. It's useless to ask the employes there, since they've already given me the wrong sockets twice...

When I did mine it took an 8mm allen head. The place I was at (my school) had one in the tool cage and it worked great. What sockets have you bought? Allen head sockets can be had at any sears. Something like this will do. Although you don't need the whole set, the 8mm should do the job. Oh, and this link reminds me. Try looking for Hex Bits, rather than allen heads.

this is what ya need. this and a short extension. you could use a 1/2 drive but im not sure it would fit past the camshaft

I have the 8mm hex bit. It seems to be too big and won't fit the the small whole on the cyl. head bolt!!
