Dodge MOD 1g BOV... questions.

I just got my 1g BOV and did the "dodge mod" to it. Where you by pass the lower diaphram port and divert it to atmospher...instead of the upper intercooler pipe.
It is said to hold 30psi without leaking.

My question is, I am only running 15psi right now and 20psi within a few weeks. Is that to low of a psi, will it be enough to open the newly modded 1g BOV? My fear is that this will cause compressor surge if not opening enough.

-I really do not want to crush the BOV so this was the only other alternative.

I'm running a dodge mod BOV on my AWD winter beater and only running 12psi with no problems. I used to notice it surge a little on my FWD car set up with the MAFT(blow thru) but only when I would release the throttle too slow. Basically, i could make it surge, but when driving the car hard or just normal, it would hardly ever surge.

The lower diaphram port is the stock version of quick release.

So as long as I connect the nipple to a pre T.B source...(icp)(boost source) It will react just as a stock un modded 1g BOV.

Then when I want to run the track with out looseing good PSI, then I can vent the the "GUS" port or lower diapram nipple to atmospher.

So now my question is...for daily driving...(gus port recirculated) will the 1g bov hold 20 psi?
Its brand new. (Can a stock 1g BOV hold 20 psi)
I've read the leak at 17...and andyM claims 22.
