is it possible to mount the factory fog lights onto a car that didnt come with fog lights without removing the bumper as long as i can get to the plug? this is on a 1g

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I am trying to install stock foglights on my 2g and it had never had foglights installed on it before. The question is, does my car have the wiring for it, or do I have to put in my own wiring? BTW, I got a stock foglight switch with the stock fogs.

I know for a fact that you can install them on a 1g beacause I did it. The wiring is already there along with the water tight connector. All you need to get are the fog lights themselves, the brackets, and the fog light switch. Then just plug everything in and you have fog lights. And if the switch you are using doesn't stay on, I did a tech write up on how to fix it.
