Hello im posting this in this section so i can get some answers . When driving my car and i push it half throttle and hold it the car picks up speed sometime sounds like a boat going through waves the power increase decreases and increases very strange . Also when setting my timing and idle the engine does not idle down or act diffrent hooking the ground up to set these? Usally the car will slow down or change pitch . It seem with the plug grounded the timing is always the same . I can change the timing as well with out hooking up the ground? Does anyone understand me and if so what do you think is causing this? Thanks !

You will need to ground the timing before you can adjust your timing. by advancing and retarding your cas, you will see the timing jump. there you can adjust to the proper btdc.

good luck.
later.

Earlier i had said that the car did not idle down or change picth when grounding it for setting the timing the cause of this was because my logger was also plugged in . You cannot have your logger hooked up and set the timing accuratley. Only the ground bye the battery must be grounded ............................................Duh ...................................................:beatentodeath:
