First of all FILL OUT YOUR VEHICLE PROFILE!

Next, tell us what exhaust system you have. Because you do not have a catalytic converter installed, this will naturally make your exhaust system louder. Thus, reinstalling the cat will quiet down the noise level a bit. I see you currently reside in CT. What is the decibel limit there? In addition, you probably should fight the ticket, but you need some advice before going in to court. Read these three posts I made a while ago on EvolutionM:

To answer your question directly, you are looking for an exhaust system that has a low decibel level. Thermal R&D is known to make somewhat quiet exhaust systems. Also, 2.5 inch exhaust systems are generally quieter than 3 inch exhaust systems, so take that also into account.

my ticket was for too loud of an exhaust. it was a warning but a ticket is soon to come...mods: Intake/Turbo:

ported 2g manifold
ported 1g o2 housing
Custom 2.25" mandrel bent intercooler piping
buschur upper i/c pipe
EVO 8 frontmount

Weld in a cat and it should be a pretty significant difference. The N1 already has resonators built in, but if theres room I'd put in another.

Also, please fill out your vehicle profile. It only takes a minute. :thumb:

You're not getting it. All that information (plus some) needs to be added and updated into your own personal profile. Please look at the link below for more information:
