I am trying to help a guy put together a 97 GST that was stolen and striped for parts. He needs my stock IC piping and BOV. I have a dejon tool full set of piping that is flanged for TurboXS BOV's and a turboxs RFL. There is no way that I plan to run this BOV and would sell it in favor of a turboxs H34. I have read some threads that say that turboxs products are crap. Should I just try and sell the dejon piping and turboxs bov together and start over with a whole new setup or should I try one of their recirculating bov's? I called dejon to see if they could flange the piping for a different brand bov but they said it couldn't be done.

Thanks for any advice

Dejon reflanged my piping for a greddy type rs after it was flanged for a 1g, I think they should be able to do yours.WTF

They said that they could reflange it in most cases except for the turboxs because of the goofy position on the pipe where it's installed.

If I was going to go with a FMIC in the future would you still use this piping and adapt it to a front mount with some bends or extra parts from Dejon (don't know if they sell anything like that)?

If my plans are FMIC do I hold off on doing anything and buy a complete kit?

It depends what type of kit your looking at. I just installed the infamous XS POWER kit and am very happy with it. This kit comes with short route piping so I did not need anything from my old setup. If your looking for something with short route piping then you would not need that peice, however if you are looking at a kit with the longer "stockish" pipe path then you would need that peice. I say go for the XS POWER kit and be done with it.

Yes my piping goes along well with the dejon, I was looking for front mounts that put the pipes back in the stock location because I did not want to sell 400 dollars worth of new dejon piping and I just ended up making it custom to fit with the dejon with a spearco frount mount for a 2g.

If you paid for them to reflange it that sucks, because the greddy s and rs bolt up to a 1g flange.
The turbo xs rfl isn't that bad, just make sure you have enough washers and aren't leaking. I would just leave it for now, why waste the money if you are going to replace that stuff with piping for a front mount? Get a tial or other bov when you upgrade.

Buy a new Flange for the Bov you want. (Make sure its the correct metal for the piping.(Alum., Steel)) Get a place to cut off and grind down the old one, then reweld the new flange on and be done. Don't just hack it on, do it the right way.
