St. Catharines,
Hi i own an 1997 eagle talon tsi fwd auto. I did want to post this in the transmission section, but im a newbie so it doesnt allow it so im posting here. My current mods are big evo3 16g turbo ported, ported o2 sensor and exahust mani, full 3inch turbo back exhaust, prothane mounts, boost controller, hard ic piping with hana race craft smic, 1g blow off valve, k and n air filter, dsm link, walbro 190lph, 850cc injectors.

Now that you guys know which mods i have heres my question. I want to mod my auto tranny to perform at top performance. This includes high stall torque converter end clutch upgrades and shift kit. In your guys opinion what is the best shift kit to get what is a good high stall torque converter to get and end clutches. Ive researched but i just want feedback on what you guys are running. I was told trans lab is what alot of people go with. Ive also seen this http://www.ipttrans.com/mitsubishiauto.shtml... ive also been told that i can mod my stock torque converter to a higher stall. My Goal is to hit 12.5 in the 1/4 mile ill be boosting 20psi on this turbo aswell.

hands down, IPT is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Give them a call and ask questions. They will answer everything to make sure you get what you want. Their work isnt cheap but quailty and cheap dont go hand in hand, you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny.

i have to agree with *THE EE* they are good guys and i also had the pleasure with my old Auto gst of doing business with them, they are very helpful and will answer any questions you may have, their valve body with translab shift kit and IPT torque converter does wonders for auto's

I bought and installed the IPT shift kit in my 95 GSX. It's the biggest improvement I've made in the car. Firmer and faster shifts. A little tedious to install, but take your time and its worth it. I can't attest to any decrease in time slips because I've never run mine at the track. But it is definitely worth the $80. Don't even hesitate.
