Hey, i'm still in the process of turboing my 420a but im running into a few problems. Where id the best place to tap the block for the oil feed line. I was told that the factory oil pressure switch would work well. Also, since im running it from the oil pressure switch location, do i need a restrictor on the flange for the oil feed on the turbo so that the computer car read oil preasure. I was also told that is there is no restrictor that the excess oil can damage my seals in the turbo and the computer wont read oil psi. The oil feed port on the turbo is already tapped for a 1/8 npt so can i just get an AN fitting and run the line straight there.

What turbo are you running. Some of the Garrett and Holset's require lower oil pressure and can cause slower spool and damage the seals. Tapping off of the oil pressure switch is ok but try not to tee too many things off of there because the sender can actually cause a brass tee to break.
 
The turbo that i have is from XS Power and it says its a T3/T4 T04E Hybrid. It came with a paper that says that it recommends a 3AN line or 4AN line for the feed and a 8AN or a 10 AN line for the return.
 
I would use what's recommended. Those turbo's are a toss up on which one's were built good and which one's weren't. But I would do everything you can to make it last so go with those feed and return lines. As far as pressure goes it won't be a problem.
