Hi I have pmd several members on this topic and none have helped me out by responding so I started a topic in the forums. I have a 95 talon tsi with the following mods. 6 bolt swap bored .20 over, eagle H beam rods, Mahle 8:5:1 forged pistons, cometic head gasket, arp studs, hks 264,272 cams, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, walboro 255lph fuel pump, 880cc injectors, aeromotive fpr, kaaz lsd, act 2600 clutch and lightweight flywheel, fp3052 turbo, greddy big FMIC & upper IC piping kit, greddy E-01 boost controller, Apex power FC standalone, forced performance 4inch cold air intake, tial 44mm wg with 18lb spring, custom 3inch back turbo exaust. I am trying to figure out what is the best suspension setup to run. My car is a fwd and i plan on doing polyurethane bushings but I am debating on what suspension to go with my choices right now of intrest are the tien super street or flex coilover setups. I have heard that the kybs are good with the eibach pro kit does anyone have any suggestions? My goal is to put down about 450-480 whp and i am shooting for low 12- high 11s. I know that traction issues are common with fwd and i like that challenge so im staying with the fwd. I am currently running falken 451s on the car and i also plan on investing in some slicks or a good drag radial.

BFG drag radials are awesome for traction and proven. Based on the all the Supra's that run them in the modified pro classes running 8's.
Tokico Illuminas and Eibachs Sportline are a great setup which I have had personal experience with. If you do not want the car that low go with their Pro kit springs. I did some autocross as well as drag. Good Luck!!

I dont know whats best but what I had in mind for my car is like a 1.5 in drop in the front and half inch drop in the back ( decisive about what springs ) and putting koni yellows up front and kyb agxs in the rear set to full stiff ( to reduce weight transfer to the back when you accelerate ) and poly motor mounts ( already have front/rear strut bars) and maybe if I ever get the money a quife lsd or something or however that lsd is spelled.

thanks what about a coilover setup?

My next purchase will be a K-Sport Coilovers. They are not as expensive as Tien or JIC, but still good quality. You can see my current suspension setup in my profile, and it handles well. As far as tires the Nitto NT-01 are great, I am waiting on mine. I was in a friends car with his DD tires, and when he put the NT-01's on for racing, man you can tell the difference. At the track too, his times with street tires 13.3 and with the drag radials 12.7.
