car wont take gas

i have a 90 gst its all stock when i start it it runs at 2500 rpm's it warms up and never idles down also when i press the gas it spits and sputters but wont rev up like its not getting gas and it has a new fuel filter. any help with this would be great. thanks

High idle can be numerous things but most likely the biss needs adjusting. Just search the forums for BISS or check out www.vfaq.com

As far as the fuel issue, have you replaced the pump? I would want to see a pressure guage on it so you will know if you have the correct amount of fuel or not. I am sure someone else will chime in with some better suggestions but that will give you something to start thiking about.

Whens the last time you did a full tune up. Pull your plugs and see what they look like. If your not sure take a pic and post it. Travis
