I know you cant adjust timing on a 2G, from my reading there are a few out there that have taken the 1G CAS and placed it on a 2G to gain some power and be able to manipulate the timing this way. I guess its a matter of just bolting it up and doing some rewiring.

My question is though, will it have any ill effects on a Automtic? Most tech articles I have read are usually manual cars. Just wanted to doubple check if that is doable as well on the automatic.

Looking to use the 14b to it full potential in my 2G and get 300 or so horses in that car.

Tranny is soppose to be ok with that type of power from what I have read.

I don't think there's anything transmission specific involved with running the 1g cas. However, keep in mind that a 1g cas usually equals random misfire unless you have dsmlink to disable it. Do a search on random misfire if you haven't heard about it.
