Hello everyone in the forum,

I am an user from Korea and found this site/forum through web searching.

My test vehicle is 1991 Hyundai Elantra 1.6DOHC 5Spd.

My current engine mod is based on Hyundai G4CP engine which is 2.0 DOHC engine.

I replaced the crank shaft to Sonata 2.4's and bored up a piston to 86mm.

So my current displacement is 2322cc. And compression ratio is close to 12:1

I have driven it for about a year now.

My next project is to convert it to turbo engine.

ECU will be converted to Siemens ECU which I can program by using SAM2000 software.

So the hardware is the "unknown" issue.

I need a little guide on how to setup the hardware.

My bore is 1 mm over sized...so that is a little issue.

I am not aiming for massive power...

I thought of replacing the 2.4 crank with 2.0 crank (88mm) and use 86mm OEM pistons from Eclipse or Lancer...

Manifold, I am trying to find OEM one as well, but I can create stainless one according to the turbine which I have yet to choose...

I am thinking of TD05-14G or 16G or T3 from Garrett...

Boost control will be done by Tial 38mm wastegate...1bar spring.

Injectors I will be using is 630cc and Walbro fuel pump.

Any inputs would be great...

Here is the picture of current engine.

My question is recommendation on the hardware parts.

Especially piston / connecting rod setup.

My block's bore is 86mm currently.

newtiburon.com might be able to help you out a bit more with that. If this is the beta 2 engine correct? (sorry I'm a v6 tib guy and don't know TOO much about the beta series). Also, RDtiburon.com would be helpful if it is the beta 1 engine.
