Does anyone know if a 2g T25 turbo will it on a 1g turbo Manifold??

Thanks in advance and also it just plug and play??

I think he is asking if a T-25 will bolt on to his 1G. In that case yes it will bolt to the exhaust manifold but no it will not be a complete bolt-on as the outlet is different. Also it would be a big downgrade compared to the stock 14b.

I honestly can't come up with a good reason why you'd bolt a T25 onto a 1G... If your factory turbo kicked the bucket then at the very least getting the 14B rebuilt is a far better choice. (both economically and performance wise) Heck, a 16G is practically a bolt-on affair with a 1G (unless of course your car in question is an automatic 1G)

It would almost be the exact opposite of doing a TD05 install on a 2g, you could say. Instead of a 1g oil return line, you'd need a 2g oil return line. The coolant lines would have to be swapped, and instead of a J-pipe, you'd need an S-pipe.

I'm sure it's been done before, though, in times of emergency. The only reason I'd ever use a T25 again is for a temporary fill-in between turbos.

I agree with the rest. Spend the cash on a rebuilt 14b/13g (whichever it is that you need) and also invest in a 2G manifold since you'll have the turbo off anyhow.
