Macklin,
Ok, this story begins with my sister needing a lift home after dropping her civic off to get fixed, i get home and the car dies on me. The next day i start it up and it runs fine, by the way its a 90 laser, drive around with a buddy for a while and then the car dies again, and everytime i come to a stop sign or anywhere that i have to stop, the cars idle just starts to drop to 800 rpm, then 500, then dies. Now i find everytime i start it, runs fine right off the bat, and then dies after going for about 30-45 minutes.....WHAT THE #@%* IS GOIN ON??? :(

No the CEL isnt on, but i forgot to mention the only mod i have is a K&N filter, and a muffler, but i doubt the muffler has anything to do with it.

Its the ECU. Ive got a 90 Eclipse, only difference is it is NA. I had the EXACT same problem, then I replaced the ECU and has been running great ever since ;)

While it is possible that it's the ECU seeing how often the leaking capacitors cause random dieing but it's also possible that the ISC is bad with the pintle stuck all the way in and once the car warms up it will stall when coming to a stop.

It would be a smart idea to check both. Hit the VFAQ up or search here on the procedures for checking them.
