Although it's okay for residual non-synthetic to mix with synthetic, I don't think you'll find anyone recommending making actual "batches" of it.
Don't bother paying GM's price. Get Pennzoil Synchromesh, and see how it does just straight for you.
There's a good twenty-five threads about transmission lubes. Read them.
