Low 12's on $1500 including price of car..

Well I am not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but mods, obviously, feel free to move it if you need to.

On to the good stuff

December 05, I paid $500 for a non-running '91 Eclipse qith flat tires, missing interior, etc...Ifixed the interior for the most part, pulled the head off, tool it to the head shop - after multiple head jobs from local shop, the car still didn't run right, Come to find out I overheated the car and warped the head. I then put the car up for sale/trade, sick of DSM's... A member here traded me a 1988 Supra with a big turbo, bov, and some other mods on it. This was a great help because at the time, I was going through a rough part of my life and had no transportation. Anyhow.......

2 weekends ago, I drove down to LA and traded my Supra for:

1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 2g Pistons/1g big rods, Cometic HG, Revised 3g Lifters, SHEP Racing GVR4 Tranny, Ported RRE 16g turbo with 38mm wastegate & Ported 2g Exhaust Mani, ACT 2600 clutch & Extended Slave Rod, Fidanza Flywheel, Dave Brode Upper I/C Pipe, B&M fuel press gauge, Supra Fuel Pump, SpoolinUP AFPR, 3" Turbo Back with Magnaflow Performance muffler & 3" Test Pipe, EVO 8 shift knob, Ground Control coilovers in rear, Eibach Sportlines in front, Nuespeed front & rear strut tower bars, TurboXS Dual Stage MBC, TMO Stage 3 Chip, Sirius Radio, Clear Corner lights, Autometer Boost & Air/Fuel Gauges.

So.. in essence, I paid $500 for the above car, if you look at it like that, which I do.
I am setting my budget this year to $1000 additional. I was thnking somewhere along the lines of:
Option 1:
Ebay FMIC with Short Route piping ($300)
550 injectors ($165)
2g mas (Free - already have)
DSMlinK $500
or...
Option 2:
ebay fmic ($300)
bigger injectors - $250 limit
MAF-T ($150)
GM MAS ($30)
safc2 or chipburner - $200


Items I could sell: DejonTool 3in UICP, 1g Logger with NEW M105 Palm - stock SMIC ($50 to a local)

Other suggestions? I do not want to use nitrous - I am not against it, but I don't feel it is needed for this goal. Also if you are anti-ebay-fmic, please just close this thread and forget it exists.

I am NOT bench racing, I am getting opinions of what else I could do in my situation - I bet a lot of DSMTuners members have a lot of different opinions!

550ccs are great but Im in the same boat right now with them I need to go up, I make 24psi and max out my injectors on pump gas with my tune so if it were me the smart thing for anyone to do is to get bigger injectors from the start and not ever have to upgrade later! The ebay front mounts are usually good, I have one myself and so far no problems, onlything I would look into is get T-bolt clamps and good coupings!! Last thing just go for Dsm link, I know it may sounds like alot but just do it. With that setup you can easly run low 12's with a good driver.

Also congratz on abbsoultely amazing buy!! Thats a hell of alot of mods on a car for $500.

Andy, so you are thinking somewhere more like:

2g mas (Free)
DSMlink ($500) - Yes, I know DSMlink rocks - I have been using it to tune friends car.
Bigger Injectors like 680's ($250)
Ebay FMIC - $300 (I will have custom piping made here with proper couplers and clamps - friends car mentioned above was a nightmare)

That's a bit over the budget of $1000, but again, I can sell the stock SMIC, Dejontool UICP, stock BOV (I have another crushed 1g), and SpoolinUP AFPR in order to pool a few more dollars. Maybe an Aeromotive? I think I could get that setup done for 1200... ideas?

I would really like to get a MAF-T on the car this year. My buddy has one and it is very nice
