Ok guys heres what i have 92 fwd turbo eclipse. Modds are safc,turbo timer,cat back and hacked maf.

Heres the problem that started today.the check engine light came on and the engine cut out. Id try to start it back up and it wouldnt i let it sit for like 5 minutes and itll start then buck for a while then smooth out. I adjusted the hi and lo settings from 5% to 0% and it seems to be fine but i havent driven it since. What do u guys think would that be the problem? My logger is on the way.

Do you still throw a CEL code? Have you tried reading the code with a voltimeter?

How do you read a code with a voltmeter? The light comes on the car runs like poop and stalls then it wont start for a couple of min's then magic it starts with no light no problems. Yes poop is a technical term.

You can either use a voltimeter, or you can make a buzzer or light device simply enough.

Ok kool heres the deal i just went out to the car i went to start it. It cranked but didnt kick over. I went arround to the passenger side of the car to look at the ecu. It wasnt bolted down from the guy who installed the safc. I moved the ecu and then cranked the car over it started. Before i moved the ecu i tried cranking it like 6 times. What the heck is going on here.

Bolt it down, check all the wirring in the ecu harness, and splices to the SAFC. You probably have a loose wire..
