I searched and found negative and positive feedbacks on Ebay turbos. Someone who had good experience with Ebay turbos please give me the the Ebay ID so I know who to buy turbo from.
Thanks

Like whiteturbo said. the frontmounts are solid for the price. Ive heard nothing but good things about ebay frontmounts.

I purchased a evo 3 16g turbo 4000 miles ago from e-bay. So far so good. No problems and am happy with it. I bought mine from "SSAUTOCHROME" , $395 + $30 shipping. Good luck

NO...

Just do a search on SSAUTOCHROME and tell me what you find :barf:

Hold on now...this is the 420a forum, and from what I see you own a 4g64 spyder. Do you have a 2gnt as well?

There are some things I would have no problem buying from an eBay vendor. A turbocharger is not one of those things.

Save up your money and buy a turbo kit from a reputable manufacturer, like Star or Hahn Racecraft.

Look at the link I posted...known and trusted Garrett vendor with awesome prices :rocks:

I just need a turbo to put on and finish my turboed 4g64 project. I bought a used Garrett 60trim from a seller from DSMtrader.com . It looked decent to me but when I put it on my car, OMG it leaks oil as hell. Now I sent it to turbochargers.com to rebuild it and the asked for $500 :(
I am broke now and still own $700 from my credit card. Thats why I dont have money to go for a real turbo. Looking for something cheap but reliable.
Please suggest me some reliable seller on Ebay so I can get my car run without spending too much.
Thank you all.

:tease: Meet the seller

Well if you think they were shutdown by e-bay , they were off for a while but not sure why? Could of just been a payment problem for the e-bay fees. Maybe the account they used to pay was changed and e-bay never got paid so they shut them down. But "right noiw" they are active and in business. They did not lose their customer rating.

Now when i bought my turbo , I don't remember it being a GT version, I'm pretty sure mine doesn't say GT on it. I could be wrong,The one they are selling now says GT. It is also $50 cheaper than I paid. The picture of the kit is exactly what i bought tho.

Now that you busted my balls "Xmasta" tell me what you found.

For the price i would still buy it. Believe what you want about the GT. I think its crap from REAL distributors that are pissed off about losing business to e-bay. Since mine works fine iI may not be accurate about the gt version. i can only go by my actual findings of my own actual use.

OK their actual website looks like they changed to XSPOWER or something like that, But on ebay they are there. I don't know, But for under $400 it worth a look in my eyes.

No, I don't need a 16g.
I have all the setup for turbo already. I only need a turbo itself and it must be T3/T4 57trim.
Any reliable T3/T4 on Ebay ?

If your going with an ebay turbo look for name brands like garrett, turbonetics etc. no underground "only found on ebay" garbage:nono:. My buddy got one of those 50 trim knockoff ebay brands, it didn't last 45 minutes. It siezed up. It seemed like it came with bad seals. leaking oil right after installation. Garbage. :notgood:

I finally decided to take the risk and bought a T3/T4 57trim from drift-pros on ebay. Here is the link to it :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK:MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=200038035457&rd=1,1

That seller sold many turbos like this and got all good feedbacks on the turbos. I hope this one will not fail on me. I will put it on and leave my feedback here so everybody know how an Ebay turbo is.

I am in the market as well for a bigger turbo. Will this bolt directly on without an install kit? If so, i would be willing to give it a try.

If you have a T3 flange manifold, yes it will bolt right on. All I concern about is the quality of the turbo.

You need alot more than just a t3 manifold for this to work on your car.Phanalax stop giving people mis information you dont have any clue.I have seen your posts on team-2g and you should not give people advice when you dont have any clue yourself.

What are you talking about ? Do you have a T3 manifold and actually running with T3/T4 turbo ? If not then don't give comment here.
I am the one who actually running with an Ebay T3 manifold and Garrett T3/T4 turbo. Everything fits just like stock parts. Do you need me to post pics here to prove ?
Again, anybody who does not have an Ebay turbo set up will not know exactly what is gonna happen when you install it. So don't scare people because it is Ebay's turbo kit.

SSA/ XS POWER glue their turbo's together.

Lots of heat + Glue = no

It was a long time ago. I don't know the quality of their product now but I will stay away from XSautoChrome anyway.
I bought a turbo from drift-pros and asked 2 buyers from that Seller. They all said that the turbo spools good. I am waiting for mine to arrive and try it.
