Only my left rear (driver side) speaker works.. all my other speakers do not work. Car has a aftermarket Sony Xplod headunit. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

No clue, just got the car.

Wiring as in where the headunit is wire in or in the door panels and rear panels where the speakers are? If so, how do I get to them?

Thanks

Easiest thing for now to check is pull the head unit and look at the wiring harness. Make sure that the Green, White, Grey and Purple pairs are all hooked up. If they are then you need to check your doors and rears to see if they have been replaced. If they have, then check for broken wire connetors at the speakers themselves.

If wires are unplugged behind the head unit...well...you know what to do there :thumb:

If everything looks good, I suggest running a wire from a door speaker to the head unit directly just to test it. If it works, do the same for the other two. If they all work, simply run new wires and call it a day.

Hope this helps.

LOL just found out from the previous owner that the rear left speaker is the only one actually in the car... the other 3 didn't work and he was going to upgrade all of them but never did.
