Ok so I have a water injection kit sitting in my garage. I dont want to have to run two differnt tunes on it or if I happen to run out be screwed an blow up my motor. So my question is that can I run the same tune I have now and inject water or will it mess up my car? There are so many threads on this and I can't really get a straight awnser out of any of them.

Thanks,
Brandon

The whole point of the water/meth injection is so you can do a more aggresive tune, so you can up the boost, with the high end kits like Devils Own, Engine run up, snow performance, ect, ect...they have emergency shut off deals where you are warned if the nozzle is clogged, or out of water/meth. If you are worried about running out get a larger tank, and put it in the rear. I will be DDing my car, and running a 6 gal. tank in the hatch, so I won't run out, and can go for decent trips.

Cool thanks I will probably wait till I get DSM link to install it then because the only reason I have it is because the previous owner gave it to me.

Thanks,
Brandon

You wont have to worry about running out of fluid as long as you keep and eye on it. I raced all weekend and only used 2 liters. That was about 25 runs down the quarter mile. I can drive around for a month or so on 4 liters of fluid and i dont drive easy. I picked up 50hp or so with water meth injection.
