hey guys, i searched but couldnt find any information about removing these foglights, one is cracked and blown so i bought a new one...but i cant get the old one out LOL any help would be appreciated.

there are like 2 or 3 screws that need to be taken out, and then you can either pull the foglight out and towards the center of the bumper, or get your screwdriver and go on the inside of the bumper and push it out (in the same direction)
it seems to be much easier on the 2ga than the 2gb

ok thanks guys! the bottom screw is stripped, any suggestions on how to take it out? its a perfect circle ha

I haven't looked under a 2GA in a while, but I had a similar problem when I removed them from my GS. I just yanked on the brackets back and forth hard enough to break the screw head (it was pretty rusted out). I don't know if that'll work, but if not, try wedging a sawzall in there or even torching the thing off. When all else fails, grab a BFH.

Good luck!

Andy

P.S. If none of those options work, give Maynard a call since it's a perfect circle (couldn't resist)

Andy I wouldn't torch it, I did that to a bolt on the inside of my fender that was messed up, and my fender caught...lucky I had a hose nearby. I would say sawzall, or grinder. I vote for the grinder, sawzall might get away from you, and bounce off and hit your bumper.

Get an impact screwdriver from Harbor Freight. Use valve grinding compound on the tip of the screwdriver so it can get a grip on the metal. It won't take much of a hit to break it loose. Replace with stainless screws.
