Another starting issue please help

So i finally complete the engine rebuild get it into the car, hook up the wires (i did not bolt the engine down yet) and start it up and it runs (like crap but i havent set the timing yet) also i did not have coolant in the car at all (i know) and it ran for a good 2 mins BUT the motor still will turn by hand fine but anyway so i bolt the engine down and after i hook EVERYTHING back up to the car i go to start it and the starter clicks, battery is reading 12.9 volts, gorunds and terminals are all good, wtf could this be, i want to drive this car so bad and it pulls this on me. Do you guys think the starter craped out? i dont know, also ALL fuses are good too.

ok i found the problem, operator error, i forgot to put on one of the 3 positive wires that go to the battery, its starts now, but i got a new problem, i have a decent size vac leak coming from the intake manifold, somewhere where those 3 small vac lines hook into the mainfold behind the injectors, if i spray carb cleaner in that area it will rev up, but all those hoses are new and clamped!?!?! and its a metal intake.....dont know about that one, im just glad to hear it run and drive it, it pulls good @ 9 psi in 1st but i wont do that again for about another 300 or so miles, but anyone have a clue what it could be on the vac leak??
