Shimmed rear for camber, made it worse??

Toronto,
My tires are almost bald down to what looks like the belt or w/e is in there. So I have a new set, and before installing them I wanted to camber the rear with shims.

The passenger side is fine, looks alot better, probably not enough though, but the drivers side looks like hell. Seems like it got even worse after the shims?? I used 6 washers for each bolt. Could this be something wrong with the assembly? some kind of joint or something thats gone and needs replacing?

Could it be that my inner wall is so worn that its effecting alignment?

its a 2g GSX with what looks like a 1.5-1.7" drop. 18" rims

Thanks

When I made the shims for mine, I used the adage "1/4" of shim per 1" drop", which was told to me by Todd at Ingall's. I had a 1/2" spacer added behind my camber kits and they align up at -0.07. Fronts at -0.05.

Although camber is not the critical factor related to tire wear as much as toe is.

Getting it aligned properly and no just "eye balling" it will make a world of difference.

oh definitely will get it aligned. I'm just eye balling it as best as I can so there won't be too much when I get my number from alignment.

But the one rear side looks really really bad..almost worse! While the other looks much better.

Don't they have Harbor Freight stores in Canada?
