My friend's crushed 1g bov is leaking at 22psi. Just wondering if any aftermarket bov out there attaches to the stock bov flange.

Greddy's BOV are almost identical flanges. But at 22 psi i would go with something stronger like a Tial or HKS. Its worth the 20 bucks for the flange.

we have used Forge BOVs to 30psi. Great product, quality design and a great sound.
As far as sound, are the recirculated ones louder or as loud as the 1g recirculated? He wants something that's close to silent.

this is the bov your buddy needs.

when you recirculate it you can barely hear it. If he has an exhaust he will never hear it. This is the same style BOV we have used for a very long time. The look amazing since they are made of polished billet, they fit perfect and hold boost like champs. I highly recommend it.

Yea Forge will bolt right on to 1g flange.

Greddys will work with modification of the flange. Then you can run a Greddy Type R if the Type-S or Type-RS scares you with their stories of leaking.

You can also buy a 1g to HKS flange. Popular DSM vendors sells them. Then you can use HKS Bovs. The push-pull type design supposedly eliminates leak, or so they say.
