SBR intercooler piping problem

I recent bought a street core intercooler kit for my 1g. The kits comes with the core, piping, etc. My car is a 1991 Talon TSI auto w/ abs. The new throttle body elbow doesnt clear the battery, or abs system and the SBR j-pipe from the turbo doesnt fit between the turbo and the driver side rad fan. Anyone know of a solution?

For the J-pipe, you can get a slim fan. Or, you could even reverse the voltage on your fan and put it on the other side of your radiator so it becomes a pusher. As far as the battery and ABS system, did SBR offer an ABS or non-ABS option? I know some companies do with just the IC piping kits, I'm not sure, however, about the full kit.

No, there was no abs option I could try a slim fan but I'll have to try running with only 1 fan for a while until I can find a slim fan (wont be too bad for the winter). I will also have to move the abs bracket since there is no other way I can think of. Thanks for the info, Brute, I didnt realize I could get a slim fan for a dsm.

I have the race kit. I am using only one fan, works good. My car has abs and I didn't have a problem with the tb elbow.

I forgot to mention, I have the Magnus Motorsports intake manifold from SBR which lowers the tb 2 inches, just enough for the abs to get in the way.

time to get rid of that pesky abs and drop the battery or move it too the back. These are probably your only 2 real options.
