How the hell do I get the water pump off the water pipe???

Im swapping out my water pump, I have the four bolts off and all the brackets out of the way but I cant pull it off the metal pipe it connects to(im referring to this as the water pipe, correct me if this is wrong), are there notches on the end of the pump that makes you lock it in?? Help please, I really wanna get all this done by today

The bolt through the alt brace must also be removed.
