I had clutch problems before and put a new CFDF clutch kit, ACT flywyheel, Master and Slave cylinders in my car about 2,000 miles ago. Within the last couple of days, the problem I had when the first clutch went out is reoccurring:
When I run the car for 1/2 hr. or so (interstate driving, minimal shifting) the clutch pedal seems to build up a LOT of pressure (throughout the entire traveling distance, not only at the top or bottom) to the point where it does not disengage. I have stopped the car and looked to see if the Slave was moving and it was it's normal ~.5", but the clutch still does not disengage.
The kicker: When I let the car sit for a day and came back with a trailor, the pedal was FINE - no excess pressure. After driving behind the trailor for 1/2 hour or so, it pressurized again and we had to load it up on the trailor.
I have looked into pedal pump-up and have my upper stop on my clutch pedal set all the way up. There are no fluid leaks in the clutch system.
