1G TB to 2G questions

I have a dead 93 2.0 NT and a running 95 TSi

I want to do the TB swap, but...

Can I use my 93 NT TB? Is it just the same as the 1g turbo tb? Autozone lists the gaskets for each as the same so I'm guessing so, but are there any difference I should be aware of?

I have another question I'll ask later after I look at my cars to see if it's an obvious answer or not.

Edit: Actually, would this be a good thing to do on a car with NO mods? I might pull the BCS and make an intake pipe, but that's it for awhile

N/T throttle bodies are different the turbo throttle bodies. You can make it work but the TB elbow won't bolt up.
