how much to covert to manual trans

im lookin into buying a 2ed gen GST but it has a blow automatic trans so i wanna buy it for 1800 and change it to stick how much would it cost to get a 5 speed trans and gget it converted to stick get the clutch pedel put in and everything

$1800 is a little pricy for a gst with a blown tranny. I'd work it down first.
My first talon was an AT and ran perfect, it was a 95 and I only paid $1200. It was an AT and after a year, the tranny went. A rebuild would have been $1500, but then I found a stick car with a blown motor for $1200. So I dropped my motor in and all is well.
But from changing both, I have seen all of the parts you will need to convert and they are plenty. Linkage, clutch cylinder and resevoir etc. Computer. flywheel and clutch, shifter and pedal assembly and switrches. Motor/tanny mounts.
Your best bet is to find a donor car in a salvage yard.
You probably won't save any money converting.
Maybe even get an AT from IPT.

1800 is a lil high.and it being a spyder let me tell you from the 2 i had.THEY SUCK! the tops leake the frames bend.
ok now to give my opion on the swap.dont do it i did it in my old old old rs.bought a wrecked 5speed.it was the hardest shit i ever did.its not worth the money trouble and theres not enough advil.
