I just got an intake from ebay. I mounted it mad sure everything was tight. When i went to drive the car it seems like the bov noise was a lot louder whoosh then ussuall. Is that normal? Also after i installed it when i come of the throtle and the rpms drop to idle they will drop very low sometimes 300ish? and then pop back to 850. On time the car ever died on me. What is this? And last but not least on the intake pipe there are 3 holes for tubes. 2 of wich i no where the plug into, but there is this little one on the front side of the pipe the side close to the lights and i dont no where that goes? my stock one didnt have one there?

Louder BOV noise is normal. The air charge being purged is now hitting a thin solid metal wall, instead of a thick soft rubber wall. It's okay.

Are you recirculating the BOV correctly? Are all the clamps tight? Have you done a boost leak test?

The little plug on the front of the intake is for the hose that goes to the BCS. If you're using an aftermarket MBC, you won't need this. Cap it off with a rubber cap. On the stock intake pipe, this nipple/port is on the bottom of the intake tube.

Yes the clamps are tight. No i have not gotten a chance to do the boost leak test yet, but that is my next step. I dont have a mbc yet. And that little nipple thing wasnt hooked up to the bcs before i changed the pipe either. So right now there is one tube going from bcs and then teed to the turbo housing and then to the wastegate. The other whole in the bcs is going to nothing. Is that the end that is sopose to plug into the intake nipple?

Yes, the other hose off of the BCS goes to that 3rd nipple on your intake pipe. If you leave it off, it's going to be leaking metered air under boost.

Make sure you do your boost leak test on a warmed-up motor. If you've never done one before, you'll probably find leaks in places other than those affected by your upgrade.

Some intake pipes have an extra rubber adapter inside the end that connects to the compressor inlet. Make sure it didn't turn sideways when you put the pipe on the compressor, or it'll block air flow and could get sucked into the compressor (very bad).
