Quick turbo swap question

I'm converting my 93 laser to turbo, ECU pin #9 is the knock sensor, #57 is the Fuel Pressure solenoid, and #105 is the boost restrictor solenoid but my question is the #3 pin needs swapped also but is this the 7th wire for the Air Flow Sesnor? what exactly does it measure? the ECU pin name says Turbo meter, (pressure guage) but it can't measure boost since it's before the turbo can it? James.

My guess is that it's the same as pin 16 on a 2G for the POS boost gage in the instrument cluster.

All that post told me is that the ecu guesses the boost using different sensors, but what does the 7th wire measure? barometric pressure? air temp? air flow rate? Vacuum? thanks, James.

I'm sorry, but your question seemed more concerned with what pin 3 to the ECU was than what pin 7 on the MAS is for. You might try rephrasing your title to attract the right crowd. Something to include "what is pin 7 on a 1G MAS," maybe. I'm afraid a 1G guy will have to help you out, as I'm not sure if there are any differences there.
