Well, I was heading out to MIR with my boys, when I got an exhaust leak. One of my turbine housing botls backed out. Being that my manifold was hot as hell, I had to get some water to "slowly" cool it down. Well I finally got the bolt back in, and now no more leak. But now my clutch feels funny, like it's grabbing on something when I press it in. And when i release, it feels like it's stuck or sticking. Throw out bearing?? Let me know guys, thanks!!

Well first off, don't EVER put water on a hot manifold. That's the perfect way to crack it into a million pieces.

I don't see how your clutch being messed up is in any way related to this...

Check the fluid as suggested. Mine felt sort of like that before the release fork broke. But then again the master and slave cylinders were also bad too... So it could be any of that.

I know not to put water on the mani, it had to be done, so I took the risk but it didn't crack... :thumb:

I know it has nothing to do with it, but the water running down the turbo... getting into the slave, maybe just a thought... I was gearing toward the fork also. The master cylinder is good, I didn't find any leaks under my dash.

How hard is it to change out the releas fork and fulcrum ball?

As easy as a clutch job.ROFL

The tranny still has to come out. So its no walk in the park. If you're clutch is anything other than perfect condition, go get a new one. Might as well do it all while you're in there. And don't keep driving on it. Because when that fork does break completely, you won't be moving anywhere.:thumb:

Ok, now i'm hearing clicking sounds either in reverse or in a regular gear. I think my tranny might be going. I'm glad I bought a warranty!!! And it's not the CV joints either, I already know what those sound like!!
