Where to Find Body Panels?

Where can I find spare body panels for rust repair? I need both sides of the rear quarter panels for a 91 tsi awd. I was wondering if there were any vendors that sold simple scraps so I could cut a piece out and replace it. I don't want to have to have scrap metal welded in.

Check on the classified section on this site (Make sure the seller has good feedbacks) Look for anyone parting out their 1g GSX. Type in on the classifieds '1g part out' you will get some results and search what you're looking for. Other dsm sites have classified sections too. Ebay is another good place to look for parts

As for a vendor, call up Gary from Mitsubishigraveyard and ask if he has any parts you're looking for. Here is his ebay site www.mitsubishigraveyard.com

PS: I also know of a DSM member on this site that has tons of 1g parts. His username is JaxTalonTsi, he has sold me parts and he is also a verify Ebay member. Give him a PM, he might help you find what you're looking for.

If you need it to weld new metal into rusted spots, and you want OEM metal pieces to use for the welding patches, then just got to a junk yard and find a wrecked 1G and you can get loads of metal for cheap.

The quickest and cheapest way would be to go to a local junkyard if you have one near you just like fourreGsixty3 said.

I didn't know junk yards would let you cut their bodies up like that. Do they have tools there to cut with or do you need to bring some sort of dremel or something?

doesnt the dealer sell parts to weld in..like rocker panels, wheel arches ,or full reatr quarters.. or ebay
