Ok, so I installed my SSAutochrome FMIC kit on Saturday. Now, as I'm driving, any time I'm above 2500 RPMs and less than, say, 5 in/hg on the boost gauge, I get this wicked loud high pitched whine. Sounds like I have a supercharger on it. I thought it might have been my BOV recirc tube was pinched, but tried without it, and it still whines. It's totally RPM-related, as in, as the RPMs go up, the whine gets louder. If anyone has any ideas on this, I'd really appreciate some input.

When my T25 went, the wheels were rubbing on the housing, and it made quite a loud howl before the seals finally popped.

Maybe a coincidence that the turbo died right after the FMIC install, but I'd check for shaft play.

Also, how do you have your MBC wired? If you have a wicked boost leak (from the FMIC install) and are T-ing into the BOV vac line or off the IM, you could have driven your turbo into the dirt by overboosting.

Could be a vaccum leak also. Check all your vaccum lines running off your TB. Maybe you knocked one off. All the times ive encountered a vaccum leak it made a loud whissle.

If not that id deffinetly do what was stated above.

My MBC has a line coming off the LICP and going straight to the WGA. I'll check my vac lines again, but I'm positive none of them came off. I've been considering if it might be the turbo, but have been very afraid to check it because if it's fried, I'm screwed. I haven't even boosted it since I put the FMIC on due to this horrendous whine. I'll try and get a boost leak test done today or tomorrow. Thanks guys.
