I was driving around in fifth and came to a red, so naturally I start braking and downshifting. Problem is I couldn't get it into gear, and clutch pressure went out the window. So Im like OK, and start pumping it and pressure came back but still couln't get into any gear, not even fifth. So I pull over and at a stop, try to put it in any gear and it wont go in. Turned the car off and it goes in all gears. So I put it in 1st with the clutch al the way down, start the car and to my surprise it moved, so i figured the clutch is stuck on the flywheel and wont disengage, so on the drive home in 1st I try the clutch again and to my surprise it diengaged but not the funny thing, it wouldn't re-engage when I left off the pedal. It rengaged a little to the point of grabing just a bit to get me up to 10 mph at like 4K rpms. Seems as if the clutch is stuck. Fliud is full, dont see how air would get into it if it was never opened up to let air in. Also should the fluid fall and rise when the clutch is pressed because it isnt.

Fluid level is fine, I already checked for leaks and there arent any. I dont see why I would of got stuck on the flywheel and then get stuck disengaged. And all within the same hour.

Also Should fluid level in the resivour go down when clutch is pressed in? Also i asked a buddy to stop on the clutch and i can see the fork moving so, i sorta ruled out master/slave cylinders unless its possible that is bad while still somewhat fuctioning.

Did you ever find out the problem? I got a 90 Gsx with a switchable Awd <to> Fwd tranny and Transfer case. My car goes through all the gears when the car is off, but when the car is on it doesnt let me go into any gears. I have to start it in 1st gear, when I start it in 1st the car starts to take off even with me holding the clutch all the way down. If I hold the clutch all the way down and press the gas the car moves even faster. After im in 1st it lets me go to second after a while but feels really funny. I checked, Tranny fluid, Ajusted the push rod for the clutch pedal, I also adjusted the clutch cables, and I also bleed the clutch any advice? So I dont have to pull out the tranny again!!
