hi i am new to eclipses bought one recently and somehting is wrong thing it is a throw out bearing. but anyways i am just wondering idd the 16g turbo is a good one to upgrade to. i'm not looking to have a drag car just a face street car. i saw them for sale on ebay for like 350 are those good ones and trustworthy to buy? i also want to know what sort of power gain i would get? how much faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile any ideas?

what else besides buying the turbo would i need so that my engine wouldn't die on me?

also what are the stock injectors in the gen 2 turbo? are they 450cc? would i need an after market exhaust system? if so what is the best one thats not like 1k to buy and that is a low note and NOT very loud?

ok any help or ideas i would be very gratefull!! thanks ----ryan.

At this stage in the game, there's a lot of mods cheaper than a turbo that will get you more gains than you'd see with a turbo. Get all the supporting mods first, and then upgrade the turbo.

The 16g turbos you see on eBay are mostly knock-offs. People have had mixed experiences with them. Some last for years, others just months. It'd be a safer, better bet to just buy a 16g from a reputable vendor.

Turbochargers.com sells what they call an Evo III GT. It's not made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) like normal ones, and people are weary of it. It's basically a knock-off. However, the ones on eBay are knock-offs OF the knock-off. It would be a shot in the dark to buy one of these turbos.
