i got a 95 tsi fwd w/ 71000 miles.

i noticed that ever so often the oil filter will back off and i start to leak oil, anyone had this problem or know how to stop it?..i can tighten it and then a couple days later its loose again.

the tranny is an auto...i want to build the motor but i dono how much the tranny will hold.??
and what could i do to make the tranny hold lets say...400 hp?...or would it even.

and could someone explain the MAS to me a lil bit..like what all can i do before i need to tune it or is it best to tune it right after i do each mod.

i dont really know much bout this so be gentle and explain it to where anyone can understand.....

Ok first update your vehicle profile.

Check your oil filter to make sure there isn't two seals.

You could find a place to build it or have a shop dual a manual conversion for you and get a shep or TRE tranny that will hold 400whp.

Your mas should be good till about 450whp so I wouldn't worry about it to much. You dont tune the mas, Unless you use the MAF-T which just tunes injectors, but thats a whole other thread. Good luck with your car.

Do you coat the seal with oil before you put it on? You need to do this so it seals tight.
different filters do it to different degrees.
But you always want to soak it prior...
