2g MAF in 1g Tsi?

Hey guys whats up? I was wondering if the 2g MAF is a good upgrade for the 1g, I've heard that you can gain up to 20hp but I dont know, I personally don't like the looks of the 1g Maf but I dont know how they perform.

Yes, it's an upgrade. No, you won't gain 20 hp on it alone. It doesn't just pop right in since the maf plugs are different, you'll have to rewire it. If you search, you'll find more information on the 2g maf upgrade. It's a very, very common 1g upgrade.

Thanks! I understand that it's not just a bolt on mod and I never belived that it was a 20hp bolt on mod, I've searched for a few hours now, its just always good to hear someone else's opinion
