TPS % is flucuating durning 3rd gear pulls

So I'v been doing some pulls trying to tune my new setup, which includes a 1g TB.

I did the TPS adjustment per the VFAQ.

The problem is when I go WOT, the TPS on the logger ocasionaly will drop from 100% to 98%, even 96% and back to 100% during my run.

Does this mean my TPS isn't adjusted properly?

Is the sensor going bad?

From what I've heard, Anything over 92% TPS is considerd open loop.

I'm not worried about running in open loop, which I think is a lot lower than 92%.......

either way I'm just wondering if my sensor is going bad or why it's doing what

it is doing.

As I've posted several times, the VFAQ is wrong for 1Gs and completely off base for a 2G.

2G's get the TPS adjusted by where the internal IPS switches when you have a feeler gauge between the stop screw and the pulley.

If the TPS voltage changes smoothly even as you describe it's likely good and something else is causing the throttle to move, If the output is spikey then the TPS may be worn out.
