A header is typically for a n/a car. A exhaust manifold is for a turbocharged car. You can get a tubular manifold or a better than stock one. I would recommend a 2G one for your stock set up because they are better than the 1G ones.

this will not be a stock setup for long. Is there any gains for the tubular manifold?

a ported 2g manifold it just fine. The 1g manifold is prone to cracking. Unless your running some monster turbo, tubular is overkill and money can be spelt elsewhere. Just my .02 cents.
