What's the most you can grind the crank and still be safe?

I see .10 & .20 over rod and main bearing for sale, and a ground crank doesn't do you any good without bearings. so it looks like .20 over is as far as you can go.

they do in fact make 30 and 40 under bearings depending on the rods you're going to be using (eagle at least). but if you do go that far, get the crank treated or it'll probably not be THE safest crank around.

None. DSM crankshafts are non-serviceable items. When out of spec, they are to be replaced.
