flex tubing
whats the purpose of the flex tubing on our exhaust? I've never seen it on exhaust before, and didnt' even know what it was till someone told me. Looked like some sort of wierd second cat or something.

It allows the exhaust to have some play so it doesn't crack itself or cause vibration in the cabin.
