I am just throwing this out to see if anyone else has had this problem.Cylinders 1 and 4 have no spark but 2 and 3 does.I switched the plugs and wires from 1and 4 to 2 and 3 and they get spark.Same with the plugs. It was running fine then it just started running like crap. Its a 93 laser rs auto with a 14b turbo and exhaust manifold..Thanks In Advance

Well i have done some reading that the transistor pack is bad.I got one for cheap so well see if it works when i get it.

nah the coil pack is bad the transistor pack controls the injectors

Im pretty sure the Power Transistor pack controls your Tacho and your spark to your coils. Your problem can in fact be caused by a bad PTU. Im not saying this is your problem. It can be an expensive problem to narrow down. Personally i have new wires, plugs, PTU, coils, and Cam sensor and still having this problem. Good luck.

Just throwing this out there but why are there 3 of the same thread by 3 different people about this issue. Any why bring back a thread from 2005! :p

Hm, I did not notice it was 3 years old, i was just searching for similar problems to my own and trying to give my knowledge based on the same experiences to help others. I cant expect people to help with my problems if i don't indulge my knowledge to others.

yea i had the same problem on my 94 eclipse, motor one day just started running rough. wouldn't build rpms. thought it was the coil pack. replaced it same problem. did some research saw a lot of people saying power transistor or (ignition control unit) i believe its called also. Bought one on ebay for 30 bucks fixed the problem.
