6 speed transmission??

well i tried posting on the drivetrain forums but i guess i don't have enough posts yet, so my question is is there a 6 speed transmission that'll fit the 2.0 DOHC 95 eclipse non-turbo?? my 5th gear is grinding even when i double clutch so i figured might as well get a 6 speed but i can't seem to find one.

I would venture to say that you will not find one to bolt up to your car. It would probably save you a lot of headache to just find another 5 speed for your car.

searching around some time ago at work i found a company that made a sequential 6 speed gearbox for the 2g, however i want to say it was something like $10-15k. as stated, it would be cheaper to find another 5 speed. if needed just get a taller 5th gear. a lot cheaper in the long run.

You will not find a six speed transmission for your 2g at anywhere less than 10,000 dollars for custom fab-work, unless you can do it all yourself. And if you could do it yourself, you wouldn't be asking. I'd either check around the junkyards for a good one or send it off somewhere to be rebuilt.
