I usually use BP ultimate gas. But one night the closets place to get gas was a marathon and i filled up with their highest grade of gas, which was the same as BP, i am not saying octane number because i don't care to here people moan about octane numbers around them. but i did notice that tank of marathon gas went down way faster with the same amount and type of driving. This also happened when i used speed way gas and gas city gas at one time. I am wondering if any one with loggers have used a certain brand for a few weeks then switched to another, to state if their fuel trims increased do to using a crappy brand of gas. compared to using shell or BP. I talked to other people with many other types of cars not turbo and they noticed the same thing with their car.

Interesting theory,

Now that you mention it, I to have had this happen with my car using different brands of gas producing less MPG. :tease:
