Resolved 90 GSX EPROM ECU in a 90 GST?

Does it matter if a AWD ECU is in a FWD car?

I have tried searching but couldn't find this answer. I can get a 90 EPROM out of a GSX, but not sure if it'll work with my 90 GST?

What matters is that it's the same transmission type and much less so FWD/AWD to start with. Once you change the chip out it doesn't matter as long as it's a '90 turbo ECU.

The 91+ people can use just about any 1G EPROM but people with '90s need to stay with '90 ECUs to avoid tach problems.
