mabye stupid question

Hi.When i go calling places seeing if they have any rear diffs for my car they always ask me if its for one that locks or doesnt lock up.I have no idea what that means.Any ideas?Thanks

Are they talking about a limited slip? This might be a little far-fetched but have you tried asking them what they mean?

yea when i ask them what their talking about they tell me not to play guessing games.My car has the lsd,so whould that mean its locking or not locking if thats what their talking about?

just tell the shop that your car has Limited slip diff and if they can't figure it out, go with a differnt shop that doesnt quote out of books and knows DSMS better.

I would stop going to that place. They are a bunch of tools if they treated you like that.

A locker and an LSD are very different. A locker is more of a 4x4 thing but some drag rcaers use then here and there. An LSD is what comes in some of our cars and that is what you should get. I would just start lookin gin the trader or in the classifieds.
