dumb question about MBC vaccum hose "T"

Why does the "T" for my dual stage boost controller have a tiny pin hole in it? Doesn't that create a boost/vaccum leak?

It is supposed to be there. I cant remember why, its liek 630 am here and i cant remember for hte life of me why. I believe its for bleeding pressure or somethign or other. It is designed to be there though. Let me muddle around and see if i can find it

i jsut asked the same question a couple of days ago and asked the maker of my boost controller and he said that its pretty much too releive pressure going into the boost controller...i cant remember the entire reason but thats the main point

Third one this week.
It's so the pressure that opens the wastegate can bleed off, letting the wastegate close again.
